Singer-songwriter OMER NETZER was born in the northern town of Nahariya, Israel 25 years ago. This pastoral outlet influenced his music composition which is a special blend of country-pop, blues & rock&roll. Although he has been proven to deliver outstanding performances in the Hebrew language the lyrics for his albums were all written and performed in English.
Omer's debut album "Goodbye Song" was released in 2015 to excellent reviews and included the A-Listed radio singles "Angel", "Couldn't Love You More" and the title track "Goodbye Song". Following the quick success and an extensive sold-out tour in his homeland, Omer was invited to perform at festivals in Berlin, USA, Lithuania, Switzerland, and Moscow.
2017 saw the release of the "Couldn't Love You More" remix in collaboration with radio personality and DJ Noy Aloosh which made waves throughout Europe and was released by Warner Music Russia, Roton Music (Romania), Clipper's Sound (Spain) and Yeni Dunia (Turkey)
Omer's second album "Sweet Mistake" released in 2017 established him as one of the most important and fascinating guitarists in Israel with a powerful vocal presence and a hypnotic stage charisma.
Soon after he was already on way to the international music festival "SZIGET" where he shared the stage with top international artists and his song "Trouble Maker" was chosen as the soundtrack of the festival's international digital campaign.
In 2018 his video for "I Can Stand It" wins the "Video of the Year" award at the Catharsis International Film Festival in Belgium.
These days Omer is working on his third and highly anticipated album from which the single "Whiskey" was released last January.
Throughout these intense and successful last four years Omer played the International festival "Golden Stag" in Brasov Romania, was the opening act for Albert Lee, Riley Walker and folk-pop group Milky Chance and gave a three day on a row performance at the prestigious BB King in NYC.
"Omer Netzer is the kind of artist that Israel should export with pride. His songs are catchy without being over sentimental; he knows how to build the layers and to present them in a way that all can appreciate. It's clear that this guy knows a thing or two about how to create a folk-rock hit!" (YNET)
"This album could have been produced in the USA. It brings to mind Chris Cornell or Pearl Jam" (Kutner, Galei Tzahal Radio)
"Omer Netzer wins hearts again…in the last few years it's been impossible to ignore his magical voice, which is heard non-stop on various radio stations." (Mako)
